Conditions

Valid K-ETA holders need no entry declaration unless entering on a visa; other non-exempt entrants must declare.
The online arrival declaration is free and can be submitted within 3 days before arrival; the dated notice also permits paper.
- Fee
K-ETA application fee is KRW 10,000 per person.
K-ETA approval must be obtained before boarding the flight or ship; it is not issued at the port of entry.
K-ETA application needs a valid passport, email address, ID photo and a credit or debit card.
K-ETA does not apply at age 17 or younger, or age 65 or older, measured on the date of entry.
K-ETA is temporarily waived to 31 Dec 2026 only for nationalities on a Korea Tourism Organization list that does not include Malaysia.
K-ETA approval does not guarantee entry; the final decision is made by the immigration officer at the port of entry.

You can do it online before you fly with e-Arrival Card, or on paper on arrival.
