Conditions
- Passport validity
Macao police require the passport to be valid at least 90 days beyond the intended stay.
Malaysian government advice asks for passport validity beyond 6 months from the end of the trip.
- Onward ticket
A valid onward or return ticket is required unless the visitor proves residence in mainland China or Hong Kong.
- Proof of funds
Means required: MOP 5,000 for up to 7 days; MOP 10,000 for 8-14; MOP 15,000 for 15-21; MOP 20,000 for over 21.
Identity is checked at the border and biometric data may be collected when needed; the stay limit is recorded on the passport.
