About United Arab Emirates
United Arab Emirates eSIM Dubai uses du on 3G, 4G and 5G and covers the United Arab Emirates. It starts when it first connects in the UAE, so you can install it at home before you fly, and you have 90 days from purchase to start it. Your data connects through Poland or the UK.
Choose daily data of 500 MB to 3 GB a day for 1 to 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 days, or one allowance from 1 GB to 50 GB for 7 to 30 days. Daily data renews at midnight Malaysia time (GMT+8), which is 8 pm in the UAE, and speed drops to 128 kbps once the day's data is used. Daily plans can be topped up, and every plan allows hotspot.
For a Dubai stopover on the way to umrah, the Middle East & Central Asia 18 eSIM covers the UAE, on Etisalat, and Saudi Arabia on one eSIM, with 16 more countries.
Good to know
Does it work outside Dubai?
Yes. Despite the name, United Arab Emirates eSIM Dubai covers the whole UAE on du, including Abu Dhabi.
When does my daily data renew?
At midnight Malaysia time (GMT+8), which is 8 pm in the UAE. Once the day's data is used, speed drops to 128 kbps until then: enough for messages, but too slow for video.
When does my plan start?
When it first connects to a network in the UAE. Install it at home over Wi-Fi: the days don't start until you land and connect, and you have 90 days from purchase to start it.
Can one eSIM cover a Dubai stopover and umrah?
Yes. The Middle East & Central Asia 18 eSIM covers the UAE, on Etisalat, and Saudi Arabia, on Mobily, with 16 more countries. Its daily data renews 24 hours after the plan starts, and you have 90 days from purchase to start it.
Will websites think I'm in the UAE?
No. Your data connects through Poland or the UK, so websites see that location. Apps and maps still work normally, but a few sites may show content for that country.
Can I top up?
Daily plans can be topped up on the top-up page. Plans with one data allowance can't, so choose enough data when you buy.
