About South Korea
There are two South Korea eSIMs here. Both start when they first connect in Korea, so you can install yours at home before you fly.
South Korea eSIM Premium uses LG U+ and SKT on 4G and 5G and connects through Singapore. Daily plans slow to 128 kbps once the day's data is used, and you have 90 days from purchase to start the plan.
South Korea eSIM connects through Hong Kong or Singapore and usually costs less. Daily plans slow to 384 kbps once the day's data is used, every plan can be topped up, and you have 60 days from purchase to start it.
Choose daily data from 500 MB a day for 1 to 30 days, or one allowance from 1 GB to 50 GB for 7 to 30 days. Daily data renews 24 hours after the plan starts, and every plan allows hotspot.

When does my plan start?
When it first connects to a network in South Korea. Install it at home over Wi-Fi: the days don't start until you land and connect.
What happens when I use up my daily data?
Your speed drops until the next day's data arrives, 24 hours after the plan started: to 128 kbps on Premium and to 384 kbps on South Korea eSIM. That is enough for messages, but too slow for video.
Will websites think I'm in Korea?
No. Your data connects through Singapore on Premium, and through Hong Kong or Singapore on South Korea eSIM, so websites see that location rather than a Korean one.
Can I top up?
Every South Korea eSIM plan can be topped up. On Premium, daily plans can be topped up and plans with one data allowance can't.
