Follow these simple instructions to install and set up your eSIM

Important Notes:

  • Do not delete your eSIM profile after installation. Once deleted, it cannot be restored.
  • Your phone must be carrier-unlocked to use eSIM.
  • When using your eSIM, make sure to disable other SIMs/eSIMs to prevent conflicts.
  • Data roaming MUST be enabled for your eSIM to work, even in the destination country.

How to install an eSIM on iPhone

Scan the QR Code

Open your iPhone Camera app and scan the eSIM QR code from your email. Select "Cellular Plan" when prompted.

Label Your eSIM (Optional)

Tap "Add Cellular Plan" and follow the on-screen instructions. When prompted, you can label your eSIM to help identify it, especially if you have multiple plans. A suggested format is: [Country/Region] eSIM. Example: "Japan eSIM".

Enable Data Roaming

Important: Make sure to turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM profile:

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular
  2. Select your eSIM (labeled as you named it)
  3. Toggle ON "Data Roaming"

To prevent conflicts, we recommend turning OFF other SIMs/eSIMs when using this eSIM.

Set Up APN (If Required)

Some eSIMs (especially in Japan) require manual APN setup:
  1. Go to Settings > Cellular > [Your eSIM name]
  2. Tap "Cellular Data Network"
  3. Enter the APN provided in your order confirmation email
  4. Leave username and password fields empty unless specified
  5. Save and restart your device
